OUR STORY
From Saigon Streets to Manila Tables
Số Một began with a simple promise: make Vietnamese food that lifts the mood and nourishes the body. Our founders grew up between family kitchens and market stalls—from Hanoi’s broth traditions to Saigon’s fast, flavorful street fare—then brought those recipes to Manila.In our first year we served phở to curious neighbors; today we welcome regulars who crave that same bowl after work, on rainy days, and during family celebrations. What hasn’t changed is our cooking: slow-simmered broths, crisp herbs, balanced sauces, and lots of heart.

Our Beginning in Manila
Founded as So Mot Viet Taste, we set out to share authentic Vietnamese cuisine with the local community—flavors that celebrate balance, freshness, and nourishment.

Kapitolyo, Pasig Expansion
We opened at Madison Commons Food Park (Kapitolyo, Pasig), bringing our family-style Vietnamese favorites closer to the neighborhood and growing our Manila community.
April 2018
Dedicated Dine-In Experience
To make meals cozier and more complete, we launched a dine-in area—a warm space to enjoy clean broths, fresh herbs, and shareable dishes together.

Delivery Across Metro Manila
As demand grew, we partnered with third-party delivery platforms, sending Vietnamese comfort straight to homes and offices across Metro Manila—sarap that travels well.
